My Favorite Thing About Fall!!!

For as long as I can remember... my most favorite thing about fall is CRUNCHING LEAVES. Yes, walking anywhere at this time, you may see my head down looking at the ground not because I am sad or down, but because I'm looking for a GOOD one. A good dry, crisp leaf that is ready for me to crunch! As I'm riding my bike home from work I see how many I can ride over too... it's kind of tricky, but a good game to distract me as I'm not enjoying the climb up the mountain. I do like the colors too... they're beautiful. Seth and I will drive the Alpine Loop (a scenic drive in the mountains going from one canyon to the other) in the next week. It's a little tradition we have done the last 3 falls we have enjoyed together. Utah is a beautiful state!

Monday night we were in Pleasant Grove for dinner and games with lots of family and friends. Seth and I were in the backyard for a little bit, playing with the little toddlers. I spotted Olivia sitting on the ground, taking a leaf with her two hands and smash it against the bottom of her shoe. She'd say, 'Crunch!' and then say... "All gone!" Ha ha Ha...then Seth told me that last time we were with her he taught her that. What a cute husband and niece I have.

I enjoy reading your blog. It must be nice to have family close by to get together with occasionally.

Ella is right there with you enjoying the leaves. . . except she tries to eat them!
