It was going to be another uneventful Friday evening. But we called "the kids" (Sierra & Phil and Aubrey & Davin) and said we're going to Squaw Peak to look at the stars. It was a pretty clear night, some clouds. A bright half moon and pretty stars! We took lots of blankets and drove up the long windy road to the amazing lookout over Provo/Orem.
We had fun just chit chatting about whatever. It was pretty windy but not too cold. Seth and Phil taught us all some astronomy stuff, it was neat.
Actually... it turned in to quite the adventure. We were leaving, driving down the mountain, back to the canyons. And Aubrey said "My Ring!"... she lost her engagement ring. The poor girl!! I can't imagine the feeling! It could have been anywhere, it was so dark, the moon wasn't giving us a ton of light as it was earlier. We had walked down a trail maybe 7-10 minutes and it could have been anywhere between the car and our layout spot.
Sierra stayed at the parking lot/car to comfort Aubrey. And the rest of us went to search the trail by cell phone light. :) After about 20-30 minutes of searching... Seth found it on the trail. WHEW, it was a crazy night. Aubrey was beyond relieved (so was Davin!!) and we all went back to our apartments happily ever after.

What a fun thing to do!! I cant believe she lost and found her ring, ugh i cant imagine the feeling!!
