Today was my first day working at the BYU Health Center as a Receptionist! It went really well and I'm very excited for the great opportunity to work there. Many of the doctors/nurses/office people told me congrats! on getting this position b/c it is such a great place to work. Training for a new job is always... boring/overwhelming and just not fun. But today wasn't too bad. I got all set up with computer log-ins/went through BYU's official welcome for employees/and got parking passes for our cars (that's Seth's favorite part of it all). They gave me a TB and flu shot for free. And I saw a few friends I haven't seen since I was married, it was a fun day.
Tonight for FHE we carved pumpkins! Our friends Phil & Sierra come over every week and we take turns praying/treats/lessons/activity. We've had a thumb war contest, rock paper scissor contest, etc. I'll have to post pictures of our pumpkins later. They look pretty good!
Aunt Heather called me tonight saying they may not go to California this weekend anymore. The plan was the Gparents go with Heather & Devry to see the BYU football game and visit some of Gpa's family there. Seth and I took on the challenge to watch all 5 of their clan (Quite the bunch!!) for the whole weekend. Their payment is a weekend at a Condo in Park City! Well, because of the forest fires in CA right now, they're not sure it will be worth it to go. So far Heather's friends they were going to visit with most were evacuated this morning. And the football stadium is currently being used as a refugee. Hmm... I told her Devry and her better still take the weekend off and do something, because Seth and I will not give up the condo! So... if they don't go to CA they'll still find their getaway. I hope the wildfires in CA will be controlled soon! It all sounds pretty scary so far.

Sounds like such a nice job! Do you get to wear scrubs?!
yep, the fires are scary. no fires right where i'm living, but all i hear on the radio is about evacuations and closed freeways, etc. and the wind isn't making any of this any better ... ai ai ai.
I am glad you like your job...why do you need a parking sticker if it is right down the hill? Good luck with the little ones this weekend. Are you watching them at heathers house or yours? hahah
