Seth and I went out and drove the Alpine Loop last night at dusk and met up with Ben, Melissa, and Olivia for dinner at Chili's.
Our first snow fall was the last week in September, a few weeks ago. We think that really messed up the trees in the canyon!! The poor things didn't know what to do, half of them just dropped their leaves and the other half kept them. The pines and yellow leaved trees together was just gorgeous. Some of the picture I snapped are blurred because Seth was enjoying the drive :)
It really was a win-win situation; Seth got to have fun with the very windy road, and I got to take lots of picture - I like pictures.
We got to go out to eat with the Hartley family! It was pretty good and we had a fun time. Olivia, of course, was my entertainment - as always. She is so, so cute - I can never get enough. So here are a few pictures of her as well. She got some yummy mashed potatoes and ate some of my pasta w/ chicken. She has extremely funny facial expressions - and tons of them. She was in a pretty funny mood last night too.
Afterwards we went back to their house in PG and watched a movie/ate dessert. I love having them so close, family is good.
