Olivia celebrated her first birthday on July 27th. Seth and I went out there and joined for a big family birthday party. Grandpa Hartley was even there! (via webcam).... Olivia put on the best show any little 1 yr old could. She was absolutely adorable and in the best mood ever. You can really tell how much her whole family loves her.
Melissa made an absolutely incredible Carebear cake. The story goes... They were at the grocery store and showed Olivia a carebear and she fell in love with it right away. She cried and cried when she didn't get it, but recognized it as soon as she opened one of her presents. She's a bright girl.
Also, the other weekend we were all at Blockbuster trying to pick out a movie. Melissa was walking around with Olivia and they just passed a display of kids movies and Olivia right away went for them and just got so excited and talked so much. It's amazing how she reacted when she saw them right away and she didn't care for all the other ones. It was so incredibly cute. I'm really excited because I get to babysit her all day tomorrow!!! I'll take some more pictures... She is getting so BIG!
I put like all the pictures taken at her party because I think the Gma and Pa Hartley would love to look at them all, but sorry that it's pretty redundant.
