Last October Seth and I went to our ward's Halloween party. Lisa (nicknamed Huffy) came to the ward party too, which was unexpected. Seth and I went back to his apartment after the party and Nathan came in saying "I have got to get to know that Lisa girl more". I had no idea who this lisa girl was, but if I did - I would surely do what I could to help him get to know her better. A few moments later I realized who he was talking about - my old roommate Huffy. So I called her up, she came over and we all caught up, etc. and Nathan and her got more acquainted.... a few weeks later we all went on a double date - and the rest is history!
They've dated ever since - They're so in love and so great for each other! Nathan had planned the proposal to be exactly what the first date was like, from the same restaurant and movie(Joseph) we saw in Salt Lake down to what they were wearing on their first date and where we sat in the restaurant!! Seriously... It was somewhat a surprise for her and a lot of fun. Seth and I are happy we could be apart of the special night... After the movie we walked around temple square just a tad before splitting up... Seth and I went to the carriage ride to wait for them to do all the knee/ring/kiss stuff...
It was such a fun night! They're getting married in the Salt Lake Temple on November 16th. Engaged on September 6th... that means they have 8 more days than Seth and I gave ourselves! (we were engaged Sept. 22 and married a short 2 months later - Nov. 25th). Great times!
