I just haven't kept up on the blog much lately... Seth and I are STILL sick! We both are a million times better than before, but we just can't get our coughs to leave - and I have a sinus infection. blegh... yes - blegh... Other than that - this is what we've been up to in the last two weeks:
I got a sebaceous cyst removed. Sounds gross huh? It's just this bump that's been in the middle of my back since 2003. We figured with our insurance it would be cheapest to do it now while we could use the BYU Health Center. . . so 30 minutes and 9 stitches later - my back has a lil scar now. Sorry if these pictures gross you out...
Tuesday night cousin Todd Oesterle and his girlfriend Catie came down to Provo for the Jazz (vs. Houston rockets) basketball game. Because it was such a quick trip for them and they were only coming for a few hours, we found tickets to go with them last minute. We got tickets for $7.50! How fun to go to a NBA game for the price of a BYU performance or a movie at the real theater! We ate out at The Pie (an amazing pizza place in South Jordan) before getting to Salt Lake. I am so glad we went, it was a ton of fun to watch even though we were up at the very very top. Todd and Catie slept at our apartment and then headed back up to BYU-Idaho early in the morning to make it back for school stuff. We hope they come to visit again soon on a weekend when we can spend more time with them and do more fun stuff!!!
Last of the recent big events... our ward's Relief Society had their big 'Relief Society Birthday Celebration' Wednesday night. When the Enrichment committee was planning the event they were looking for a main speaker, I asked my mom for help... and she suggested my grandma's reader's theater. I had absolutely no clue my grandma was apart of it!!! How bad of a granddaughter can ya get!? She's done it for years... she is with a group of about a dozen returned missionaries that served in Nauvoo. They have been going around Utah Valley performing their 75min program to many Relief Societies. This group of sweet grandmas and a few young performing missionaries (now with small families of their own) came to our Relief Society's quarterly enrichment and did their thing. They came in Costume, and had a combination of stories/narration/songs to share with us about the organization of the Relief Society and the Latter-day Saint's Nauvoo life. There was a fantastic turnout!! We combined with 2 other Relief Societies in the stake and had a potluck like dinner of soup/bread/salad. And at every table was a center piece of a decorative cake. And they looked AWESOME! I was very impressed with the variety of very cute cakes, I wish I took pictures of them. I am surrounded by so many talented women in my apartment complex, it's amazing. It was so fun to have my grandma (and grandpa came too) there! and so grateful the performers came. It was a very enjoyable evening :) and we even got done earlier than expected - that's always great. AND there were a half dozen guys at the end that were anxious to use the gym for church basketball so they helped us clean up - which was even more amazing! It was a fantastic evening. And that's our life in the last few weeks! More exciting news... my sister Alicia found out yesterday they are expecting a boy. That means Seth and I will have 3 new nephews by July - wow. My sister in law, Melissa will be induced a week from today - I'm excited to have a newborn around to be able to hold. And that my mom and family are coming to be here for that and help out. I'm excited to see them. More later!

I love reading about what is happening there. Sounds like it has been really busy. How great is it that Sandi runs AND that you got to see her do it. She is amazing. Sounds like it was an amazing enrichment meeting.
Hey we like The Pie too! Weve never been to the one in South Jordan, only the one next to the U. but it is way good. what kind of pizza did you guys get?
