We made it... 2 years

Happy Anniversary to us!! 2 years ago exactly right now (11:00amish) Seth and I were married in the Nauvoo, IL temple. It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving then, and a pretty nice day for the end of November. It's fun to think about the craziness of that time. I still don't give my mom enough credit for her amazingness at pulling off such a beautiful day after giving her less than 2 months to prepare for it. It was a perfect day, and quite smooth. I loved the photo shoot we did the night before our wedding day. We took pictures at David's Chamber (I've heard it's the romantic park/scene where lovers went back in the day - aka makeout spot!?), sunset photos on Parley street by the Mississippi, and photos around a few of the sites in Old Nauvoo.

The ceremony was perfect, I remember crying and feeling embarassed - because I hate how I look when I cry! And looking at Seth during our vows, and him holding my hands at the alter. I felt so overwhelmed with the whole amazingness of what was happening at that moment. I was so in love with him, and so excited to be with him. I remember our sealer saying our love for each other was nothing compared to what it will become. I find that true today, it is amazing how much stronger my love is for Seth.

A cheesy thing, can't say I didn't warn you: When we were dating/engaged I hated saying good night to him, and our hugs 'good bye' for the night. I thought that would change after we were married. But it hasn't. I still can't stand saying good night, I rather stay up all night talking to him or just having his attention. We still have a 3 kisses good night rule, and he will not let me have any more!! If there wasn't a limit - I'd kiss him all night. I get to put a few smacks on his cheeks - but no more than 3 kisses good night. I informed him last week that starting January 1, 2009 the minimum amount off kisses would increase to 5... he just laughed at me though. I think that just means he'll think about it. hopefully.

For our Anniversary we took a little weekend "getaway" to Park City last Fri-Sun. We stayed at the Stillwater condo like last year. We watched movies, shopped in Park City (We found lots of good stuff, and I was spoiled), we saw "Bolt" in the theaters - loved it, way cute movie. My favorite though was going swimming in the heated pool. there was so much steam coming out of the pool, it was neat. It was pretty hot, like a hot tub.... It was SO nice.
