Shoes!!

I am picky. About clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc. I can't explain how I am picky about each of these things, I just like it enough to buy it or I don't like it at all. I had a post a few weeks ago about my notorious Black slip on Shoes I've worn since Junior High School. (yes, that's like at 15 years ago) I've looked at all pay-less/Wal-Marts, etc. But tonight we finally got some at Famous Footwear. Here's a picture of my old ones that will soon be thrown away {tear} and the new pair of lucky ones that I'll wear lots:

I will soon need new Rainbow Sandals too. I should have taken a picture of the bottom of these too. . . but next time I'm in CA (???) I'll be sure to get some new ones. These are the sandals my brother Brian sent me for Christmas while he was on his mission in Carlsbad.

Thinking about shoes and being worn down reminded me of my mission shoes. I had these nice black slip on Dansko's that would turn my feet black when it rained, etc. But they were perfect mission shoes. I would re-glue the soles on before president's interviews and Zone Conferences, etc. But they'd usually end up like this and I'd entertain myself with them:

I'm totally that way with shoes too. I find a pair I like and when they wear out, I just want that same pair again... but of course they aren't making them anymore, etc... I like the new ones you got though. Hope they turn out to be good ones!

You are hilarious! I would shop everyday if I could. It seems to me that whenever I don't have $ I find TONS that I want to buy and when I go out looking for something in particular that I need I can't find ANYTHING that will work!!!
