Lots to Post!

First off - today is a special day! Seth proposed to me exactly 2 years ago. For those who don't know how he did it... We went and watched "Cars" at the dollar theater for my cousin Weston's 6 yr bday party. Afterward Seth wanted to go driving - which is not out of the ordinary, especially because we had just watched a movie related to cars and driving. I wanted chocolate though, so before we went out and about we stopped by 7-Eleven for hot cocoa and some keebler's choco chip cookies. After that we ended up at our little spot up by the Y on the mountain and he proposed at a look out of Provo/Orem. He said he got me a little present, and it was in the glove box. I pulled out a white satin bag with a pearl necklace in it, a tad disappointed it wasn't a box, I thanked him for the necklace. And he told me that wasn't all, and pulled out the ring in the bag. I was beaming! He then asked me to marry him and I said Yes. And then we got married just 2 months and 3 days later!

Tonight we went and celebrated cousin Weston's 8th birthday in Pleasant Grove. It was an Olympic themed party... three teams separated by party hats (camo, horton (hears a who), and Happy Birthday hats) competed in 3 events. An obstacle course and three legged race. Alicia and I participated in the 3 legged race - we came in 2nd! So I think we rocked. The Obstacle race had lots to do with the little playground equipment and trampoline... mix that with the grandparents and you have quite the show! It was a blast, my favorite part was Seth jumping on the trampoline bouncing my mom and aunt heather high in the air, both helplessly laughing. I loved it! We had pizza for dinner, and Cinnamon rolls for a cake, I ate way too much.

I am so happy my sister Alicia and her little Ellia and mom are here to visit for a few more days. It is SO nice to have them here and be together. It is the best birthday (Thursday) treat I could ask for! Tomorrow we are going to do some shopping and get lunch, Wed we are going to see Mama Mia (!!!) and have dinner in a pumpkin! And do pedicures ... and chat with old friends. And then Thursday before they head out to drive back home to Iowa and Wisconsin - we will go to Salt Lake City to do the whole Ikea experience and go to Tai Pan. I am excited. I love my family so much, and especially this bonding time with Mom and Alicia, and ELLIA!!!

photos to come!

Hey, that is a pretty cute story about how you two got engaged. I am excited to read your blog. It is pretty fun. I like how both of you guys post on it...I don't think Josh has any interest at all.
