My Grandma Unsicker had a cousin's reunion this last weekend. Seth and I were able to help her prepare a lot, by doing garden work (high five Seth!!) and putting together maps, signs, and THE address book, whew. I'm glad people came! We headed out to Hardaway Ranch - in the middle of no where past Lehi. We took Ben, Melissa, and Olivia along with us. There was yummy food, a cowboy storyteller (that was very entertaining I hear, I was playing with Olivia the whole time and didn't really listen in), and live music! They showed some of us how to do the Virginia Reel - And the highlight was Gma and Pa running into each other quite frequently, it was super cute though.

Saturday Seth and I joined in on most of the activities that were planned. We got to take Olivia with us to give her parents a free day. We met up in South Jordan at The Mayan. It was a very fun restaurant to eat at! They had cliff divers and lots of fun things to look at. Olivia loved it too, I'm glad we brought her with us.

After The Mayan we all went to The Kennecott Copper Mine. I've always wanted to go, and I've lived in Utah for about 7 years now, it's about time I did! It was just one HUGE hole. The little visitor's center there was entertaining and I was amazed at the process it takes to get copper out of the ore. This mine is the 2nd man made thing (running up against The Great Wall) you can see on Earth from Space. It is seriously gigantic. We saw the many trucks going up and down around the big mine hauling up big loads. The machines that shovel the rock into these trucks are just monstrous! I would go again to see this amazing site.

We then headed back to Gma's house in Pleasant Grove and took naps!, played games, and ate pizza for dinner. Melissa made this pretty cool BINGO board with different family names on it. It was called 'FAM'LY'. If you really know me well, you know how much I love the game BINGO and if Seth dare leaves me before I've grown too old, but am not young for anything else exciting in life - I am moving to Las Vegas to play BINGO until I die. I just have luck in that game, and I love it. Sure enough, I proved to Seth I was right in my BINGO talent, I was the first to get BINGO. Yay for Megan. It was a fun weekend! I enjoyed catching up with cousins and aunts/uncles I haven't seen in a while. And also meeting Grandma's cousins and family. It was nice that I did the address book, b/c I could put familiar names to faces.

no pictures? What's up with that? can you send me the address book too? In all the years I lived in Utah, I never went to the mine or the Mayan... way to go guys!
Pictures are soon to come . . . when I get home from work :)
Thanks for the pictures...
I really only recognized the people that I know... Yeah, that makes sense, doesn't it?
