So Friday was a blast. Saturday was a blast too - and so busy! Seth went to work, as usual on Sat mornings. I slept in a little longer and then went and donated plasma. I haven't donated in almost a year, but started to donate again so I can earn some extra money for some things I would like. You know - those kinds of things that your spouse thinks isn't necessary or a need - it's a want. But you try to explain to him that it IS a need? Yea. . . so I donated plasma that morning so I could go and get my hair done!
I got my hair done by Sarah, I love her. She's amazing! She works at Salon Graffiti in Lindon. I've gone to her twice before in the last 3 years, but I should just go to her everytime! She's done a perfect job each time. . . I definitely recommend her. After getting my hair done so I could look hot, I went home and made cookies while we watched a movie with Davin and Aubrey. I made cookies for the Japanese party we went to. . .
My old mission companion, Cari Gates, and I have put on 3 Japanese parties now. . . Well, it's mostly Gates' party, because she hosts it at her beautiful apartment in Salt Lake - but I try to help. Saturday we took Aubrey with us, because Davin had to work from 5pm - late. We had a lot of fun. We went up early so we could help Gates prepare the yummy Curry Pan, it was soooo yummy! It was really fun to catch up with Gates too because its been a while since we've seen each other. Lots of people came, it was great to see old friends and to meet new people. And the food - was the best. We had Tempura, lots of different kinds - yakisoba, rice (of course), and Curry Pan. It was a really nice evening - and busy Saturday! Luckily Sunday was a lot more relaxed - it was a great weekend! (Pictures are in the works)
