My hair dilemma...

I found a coupon in the mail for a 50%off cut and 50% off Color or Highlight at a salon in Orem. I wasn't going to pass that up!! I've been wanting to get my hair cut for the last month, and have needed to for the last 3 months! I was so excited!! I had an appt for 2:30 on Saturday. I was in Pleasant Grove baking with grandma, and they called about noon and said that the lady I was scheduled with called in and we would need to reschedule. I explained this was my second to last Saturday in town and I work too late during the week to get an appt... rescheduling wouldn't really work. They found an employee that would stay late for me - and we rescheduled for 5:00. I was so excited!
I got there... waited for a half hour, and met Brett. She was great... and fun to talk to. I explained we were going to cut and highlight it... I thanked her lots for staying late for me. She helped me pick out two colors... a dark rich brown and a dark red. I told her when they grow out I don't want the roots to show too obvious that I'd have to come in again and re-highlight it often. She assured the colors wouldn't be bad. She went to get the colors and came back with only one bowl. I said something about that there was just one bowl and asked if the different colors will turn up in my hair, etc. She just nodded... I have no idea where we seriously miscommunicated but before I could stutter anything else she just started piling the color on my hair! I looked for the tinfoil - no tinfoil... then I realized "Ah! I'm getting my hair dyed right now!!" my face probably went white, I've never wanted to just dye my hair. I was shocked, and of course being the weak sauce I am - didn't say anything...
But I calmed down, got used to the idea... and resolved it'd all be okay. She cut my hair so great - I love the cut! The color is still growing on me... if it weren't for the compliments, I'd still be crying about it. Seth really likes it - and that is really what matters and helps the best.
