Grandma called us a week ago or so and asked if we would come sleep over Friday night (the 7th) and stay up baking Christmas goodies with her. I was excited to, and am grateful Seth didn't hesistate either. Later we found out cousins Adam and Breanne would join us too - then we were both very excited!
Friday night came... Seth and I went to my work party in Orem and then headed out to PG. Gma/pa had their ward Christmas party (that Aunt Heather was in charge of) and had just got home when we got there. All of us were too tired to do anything. So we played cribbage... Gma and I killed Uncle Andy and Grandpa twice in a row! and then they quit. Breanne and Adam opted to not come that night, so we just went to bed...
Gma made us yummy waffles for breakfast... and we started baking! Seth went to work at 8 and before he got back at 12:30 we had two breads made (banana and cranberry/orange nut bread) as well as the caramels and some of the maple nut rolls. Breanne and Adam didn't end up coming... and since a hair appt of mine was rescheduled from 2:30 to 5... I could stay longer and continue to help out.
We made PB Ritz crackers dipped in white chocolate, peanut clusters, caramel (not wrapped), maple nut balls (yet to be chocolate/nut dipped), banana and pumpkin and cranberry/orange nut and cranberry bread, peppermint bark, and I think that's it... we got a lot done, and were pretty tired after it all. It was a fun time with Grandma though... and we hope the family enjoys the bread and goodies over the holidays!

HOLY BALLS! You did do a lot of baking! I want to make something yummy, but I dont want us to be the only ones around to eat it. Send us some of your goodies. I made maple ball centers last year, but we never got a chance to cover them in yummy chocolate. Mom says they are still in her freezer, think they might still be good?
