Surprise... Surprise!

So... Seth's friend from High School, James, is residing in Florida. They're best friends, In contact Every Single Day (not exaggerating). I known of him ever since I've known Seth.

I have a friend, Gates, from the mission. We were in the MTC together, went to the same mission in Japan, and were even put in a three-some our last transfer and came home together!. We've kept in great contact since and see each other here and there. oh - her name is Cari actually, and she's been working in Salt Lake for a few years off and on.

Seth and I hooked them up. I told Gates to add James as a friend on facebook. We told him about her. They're GREAT friends now! We'll spare all the little timeline details.

I've been looking online with James for weeks now, trying to find a cheap flight he could afford to come here and meet Gates. But he said he couldn't come until later this summer. Well the little 'snipes' surprised ME and he flew in yesterday morning. He's here until Tuesday. The plan was to meet at Transformers at 11:10pm last night, we'd all 4 show up at the same time and I'd be the one surprised since the other 3 planned it. But last night when Seth was at his first softball game, James texted him while I was holding his phone and it was a fishy, fishy text - so I just caught on. It took me an hour to pry it out of Seth. A whole month of preparing and hiding... and I found out a few hours before it happened. (which gave me time to clean and make the apartment more like a home since we haven't put a lot on the walls yet).

They're now camping with Gates' ward at bear lake for the weekend (JEALOUS). But we'll see the love birds Sunday night/Monday. I'm super happy for them, and what a nice surprise it was!

We are going camping tonight too!! at Nunn's park with a bunch of friends. New camp items we got for this shin-dig tonight: camping chairs, bug spray, tarp for bottom of tent, and lantern. Totally Excited!!! Tin foil dinners and all!
