It was very nice to have Dad here for that big weekend. He's such a great dad, I wish we lived closer to where he lives! He flew home very early Monday morning to get back to the business....
But he graciously let Mom stay for a whole week! Mom, is amazing. Seriously - the best. She was babysitting/watching over Olivia, and helping Melissa with Gage, etc. Cleaning, making meals, and changing diapers right and left... what a fantastic grandma for Gage and Olivia.
AND! Alicia came with Ellia and stayed for the week! It was a LOT of fun to have my older sister there, and to see how much Ellia has grown! Ellia has such a sweet and fun personality - and she wants to go Go GO!!! She's like perma hyper - and gratefully perma happy, well for the most part at least. Which can be very tiring on an expecing mother!! I don't know how Alicia does it - sometimes her girl is ALL over the place. I would try to take her/keep her entertained when I could... Which especially seemed to be a challenge at Denny's. I went with Alicia to meet an old roommate of hers. It was a lot of fun, and I haven't been to Denny's in YEARS! But I'll take breakfast for dinner any night....
I had pulled out anything interesting I could find out of my purse to keep Ellia entertained. Nothing was more entertaining than my chapstick. She's obsessed with chapstic/putting things on her lips... I LOVE this video:
I was able to take a ton of time off work (almost every afternoon) to be with my family last week. I feel like I wasn't in provo at all - only to sleep and work. We went to Tai Pan trading (SLC) one afternoon, and they came to my apartment to see Raja one afternoon - this is a picture of Seth with the girls on the ellipitical machine - going up and down, etc... if you can see - Olivia even put her hands in the air, hahaha....
We also had a surprise birthday party for Ben on Thursday ( a week early, his bday was actually yesterday) And we made lots of FABULOUS japanese food... Yakisoba and some chinese wontons... and Sushi!
