Raja....

Raja continues to be the most fun/exciting thing out of the ordinary in the apartment... With the weather warming up and getting nice she is especially anxious to get outside. We really rather keep her in doors, but occasionally we walk around with her outside....

Our neighbors have a very cute cat, and we wanted them to meet. So yesterday when I was walking around with Raja, our neighbor saw us and she brought her cat out. Raja didn't even let the poor thing get outside before she hissed at her! I showed Raja where the cat was in the windowsill and she immediately hissed... Seth just laughed. The cat came outside and enjoyed her time smelling the grass and just hanging out - and then there is Raja who is growling and hissing up a storm - Seth's just laughing... I was shocked she was so offended to see another of her kind! It was as if she had forgotten there are other cats that walk the same ground as her.

Now I understand what her previous owners meant by 'she doesn't get along with other animals' HOLY Cow she doesn't! She wouldn't allow any poor little cat/dog get in her sight without giving them a piece of her mind. We still love her... but I'm a tad shocked.

Yesterday when I opened the front door to let her out she sprinted out and around the corner and right up a tree. . . it was nuts. She loves to climb trees, and we enjoy watching her struggle to spin in circles twenty times before she figures out the best route to get down. She's a "Ninja Kitty"... We like her...
