A fun Saturday

Washington cousins Jon, Loni and their two kids were in Utah for a visit. So we all went down to Richfield to visit with them and have lunch in the park. I have had a cold since Thursday, and Friday night was definitely the most miserable I have been in a while. I went to the other room/bed to moan myself to sleep. But Seth still didn't sleep much. We drove down there with Mary! She just got in town last week to start school at UVU. We're very excited to have her out here, there aren't many of us left!

We ate lunch in the park, grilled hamburgers - it was a gorgeously perfect day! I stayed close to my kleenexes and just took it easy. We watched the kids do bubbles with cute Aunt Natalie and there was frisbee, football, volleyball, and squirt guns. They even had finger paint - which turned into body paint - for the little ones to draw on paper. It was nice to just sit and visit with family that we haven't seen in a long time.

We all went to Andy/Nat's to play games and visit some more. I don't think many family down south in Richfield knew about the current events in my life, and so I'm sure they all think I'm such a party pooper. I just took a nap and didn't get into the card games with them. I was also not very excited to meet the new babies or play with them. I was just kind of a bystander enjoying watching them play with toys and each other. It's difficult for me to be around lil babies and pregnant ladies - Please, take no offense if you fall into that category. It's just that it's hard for me to not be jealous of you :). And I get jealous too easily, especially of that right now. I know, I know . . . I need to get over myself. It's just hard right now!

We got back into Provo about 10:30. It was a fun Saturday that went by too fast. And Seth and I especially enjoyed the bonding time with Mary on the ride up and down. This is going to be a fun year with her around!
